At Foxx Piano Studio, the performance opportunities are abundant. Students can choose as many or as few events as they would like to participate in. No matter what age or level students are, there is something for everyone. Here are just a few of these great opportunities.
Halloween Masquerade is a spooktacular event where students have the opportunity to play for family and friends in costume. For those who don't celebrate Halloween, students can play a fall piece and are not required to dress in costume.
Keyboard festival is a fun event for students of all ages and abilities. With a different theme each year, students perform with an orchestrated background. Fun for the whole family!
Music at the Mall is an enjoyable event hosted by the Phoenix Music Teachers Association (PMTA), which enables students of all ages and abilities to perform holiday pieces of a variety of musical styles in a casual mall environment.
Piano Ensemble is a unique and exciting ensemble performance opportunity hosted by PMTA. A dozen grand pianos are placed on stage and students perform their number with a conductor. Students are paired with a duet partner and assigned a specific part (Primo or Secondo).
The Annual Spring Studio Recital and Awards Ceremony is the only event at Foxx Piano Studio that is mandatory for all students to participate in. Each year the recital is based on a theme and is an event that is looked forward to all year long.
